# How much does Power Monitor cost?

Summary of how the Power Monitor price is calculated and where to check your organization's tier.

The Power Monitor monthly fee is **set automatically by the number of items (artifacts) monitored** in your tenant. There is no plan to choose: the monthly fee tier follows the size of the monitored environment.

### Monthly fee tiers (standard table in Brazilian reais)

| Monitored items tier | Monthly fee |
| --------------------- | ----------- |
| Up to 100 items       | R$ 99,90    |
| 101 – 200 items       | R$ 199,90   |
| 201 – 500 items       | R$ 259,90   |
| 501 – 1,000 items     | R$ 359,90   |
| 1,001 – 2,000 items   | R$ 459,90   |
| 2,001 – 5,000 items   | R$ 699,99   |
| 5,001 – 10,000 items  | R$ 899,90   |
| 10,001 – 20,000 items | R$ 1.499,00 |
| Over 20,000 items     | R$ 1.999,00 |

The table that applies to your organization is always the one shown in **Billing**, inside Power Monitor. Specific commercial terms and other currencies may have their own prices.
{% endhint %}

### How is the tier determined?

* Power Monitor measures the number of items in **monitored workspaces** **once a day**.
* At month-end closing, the tier is determined by the **average of the measured days**, rounded down. An isolated peak does not determine the invoice.
* Days in the trial period are not included in the average.

In addition to the monthly fee, there may be a **one-time onboarding (setup) fee**, payable in up to 3 installments. Full details are in [How much does Power Monitor cost?](/en/readme/quanto-custa-o-power-monitor.md)

### What about Managed Monitoring?

Managed Monitoring is an optional Power Tuning service, with a team acting on critical alerts 24/7, and it already includes Power Monitor. See the [available plans](/en/managed-monitoring/monitoramento-gerenciado/planos.md).

### Is there a discount for an annual contract?

Specific commercial terms can be negotiated with our team on [WhatsApp](https://powermonitor.com.br/whatsapp).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.powermonitor.com.br/en/perguntas-frequentes/licenciamento/quanto-custa.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
