## Dataflows Gen1 vs. Gen2

| Aspecto                                          | Dataflow Gen1                                           | Dataflow Gen2                                  |
| ------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------- |

* **Dataflows Gen2:** las ejecuciones se recopilan **cada 2 horas**; una ejecución que termina con error o se cancela genera la alerta **Error en Elemento de Fabric**.
* **Dataflows Gen1:** la duración de las ejecuciones se recopila **cada 2 horas** y alimenta el **Tiempo Medio de Ejecución** y la alerta **Desviación de Tiempo de Ejecución** (opcional, por elemento).

{% hint style="info" %}
Actualmente Power Monitor no genera alertas de falla para Dataflows Gen1 y no detecta dataflows bloqueados en ejecución.
{% endhint %}

## Dónde hacer el seguimiento

* **Monitoreo › Elementos Fabric** y **Dashboards › Actualizaciones de Artefactos:** ejecuciones de los Dataflows Gen2.
* **Rendimiento › Tiempo Medio de Ejecución:** duración y desviaciones (Gen1 y Gen2).
* **Gobernanza › Datos e Ingeniería › Ingeniería de Datos:** inventario de los dataflows.
* **Calidad de Datos › Linaje de Datos:** de dónde lee el dataflow y quién consume sus datos.

## Causas comunes de falla en dataflows

* **Credenciales vencidas** del origen de datos;
* **Origen de datos inaccesible**;
* **Gateway sin conexión**, para orígenes locales (on-premises);
* **Capacidad sobrecargada**;
* **Error en la transformación Power Query (M)**;
* **Destino no disponible** o con un esquema incompatible.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.powermonitor.com.br/es/principais-funcionalidades/monitoramento-de-dataflows.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
