# Does Power Monitor work on mobile devices?

How to use Power Monitor on your phone and tablet, including installing it on the home screen.

Yes. Power Monitor works on **any device with a browser**: computers, tablets, and smartphones. The layout adapts to the screen size.

### How do I access it from my phone?

Open your phone's browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.), go to [app.powermonitor.com.br](https://app.powermonitor.com.br/), and sign in with your Microsoft account.

### Can I install it as an app?

Yes. Power Monitor can be **installed on the home screen** of your phone or tablet and opens in full screen, like an app:

* **Android:** tap the **Install on phone** icon at the top of the Power Monitor screen and confirm with **Install**. If the icon does not appear, use the browser menu (⋮) and choose **Install app** or **Add to Home screen**.
* **iPhone/iPad (Safari):** tap the **Share** button (the square with the up arrow), choose **Add to Home Screen**, and confirm with **Add**.

{% hint style="info" %}
The installed app is the web portal itself: it needs an internet connection and always opens the latest version. There is no app in the App Store or Google Play.
{% endhint %}

### Do I receive alerts on my phone?

Yes, through the channels configured by your organization:

* **Email**, in your phone's inbox;
* **Microsoft Teams**, through the Teams app;
* **Slack** and **Telegram**, through their respective apps.

This way, even when you are out of the office, you know when a gateway goes down, a refresh fails, or a capacity gets close to its limit.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.powermonitor.com.br/en/perguntas-frequentes/duvidas-gerais/funciona-em-dispositivos-moveis.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
